Savinelli Alligator Brown 614 Partially Rusticated Oom Paul (6mm) (Unsmoked Estate)

It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.

Savinelli’s Alligator series offers a distinct approach to pipe aesthetics, being essentially a mixed finish of smooth and rusticated sections that evoke the reptilian hide of its namesake. This one is an example of the Alligator in its Brown finish, lending a suitably leathery aesthetic to the bowl.

This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. As with most modern Savinelli pipes, it is chambered to allow for the use of 6mm filters if desired, such as Savinelli’s own balsa filters, or will perform perfectly well without one.
