Savinelli Baronet Bruyere 320 EX Rusticated Author Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
The Baronet Bruyere is a Savinelli line that has been discontinued for what must be at least a decade now, though while it was in production, it was distinguished by two things; an understated aesthetic and an oversized stature. Each pipe was dressed in a very Italian, stony black rusticated finish and fitted with a similarly black, unfiltered vulcanite mouthpiece, and the range of shapes available for such pipes came from Savinelli’s “EX” series.
This one, for example, is a shape “320 EX,” an even beefier version of Savinelli’s iconic author rendition, the “320 KS.” Broader in chamber than its already broad-chambered counterpart, this Baronet Bruyere will no doubt handle ribbon and mixture cuts just as well as the “KS” version famously does, if not better.
This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating.
