Pipa Croci True Gran Camino Large Smooth Brandy (Unsmoked Estate)

Pipa Croci was founded by Italian artisans Paolo Croci and Gianni Croci in 1983, and in the decades that followed, the two would make a name for themselves (quite literally) owing to the high-quality, handmade pipes that emerged from their workshop in Lombardy. As Pipa Croci is a thoroughly artisanal enterprise, each pipe is unique, with some being more traditional, and others being more modern.

The “Gran Camino” is a designation used by the Croci brothers for their most distinctive and/or unusual designs, which separates such pipes from the traditional and modern classics within the rest of their output. This one is an extraordinarily large and almost opera-like interpretation of the brandy, for instance, with its bowl having been narrowed in a way that perfectly captures its very fine straight grain patterns at either flank.

This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original (slightly worn) bowl coating and comes with its original box. Some slight finish fading, though nothing major.
