Papa Bear’s Pipes are made by North American artisan Tim Beaumont. Beaumont has been making pipes since 2018, cultivating a unique style that isn’t afraid to mix and match design elements and to create something completely out of the ordinary.

While Tim Beaumont is an expert with a sandblasting cabinet, he is not immune to the pull of smooth finish when the grain is just right. In the case of this brandy, anything other than the latter would have been a crime against briar. Already distinguished by its finely woven, “angel hair” straight grain patterning, Beaumont’s added a deep, golden contrast finish to this brandy rendition to further accentuate that natural patterning. As for ornamentation, this pipe includes a shank cap turned from another natural material famous for its tight-knit, almost fabric-like graining—lacewood.
