The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature either silver ferrules, army mounts or spigot mounts.

In addition to being highly distinctive in aesthetic, stack, or chimney, shapes serve as a great way to solve a problem many a pipe smoker has. After all, if you’ve made time to sit down for a few hours with your favorite blend, you’ll likely want it to last a good while. One solution would be to use a larger pipe with a chamber proportionate to its size. This works for some, but for others, such pipes can be a little bulky and/or heavy, and are certainly not easily clenched. A stacked chamber, on the other hand, doesn’t add that much to the general heft of a pipe, meaning it can provide long periods of enjoyment without needing to be refilled, and easily held or clenched all the while. This one should make for a comfortable jaw hanger, and is at the very least very unobtrusive in the hand. It also features a reverse calabash system within its thick shank, which helps to cool and dry the smoke that passes through it from a good, long bowl.
