Pavel Holub’s portfolio is largely comprised of sandblast finishes (including his signature “Dragon Scale” sandblast), but, on rare occasions, he opts for a smooth finish, so long as the briar suits it. This one is an impressive, flame grain Canadian, with a hand cut cumberland stem to complement its blazing stummel. As Holub’s Canadians tend to be, this one is also a genuine featherweight, coming it around 3/4 of an ounce (22g), making it an almost unrivaled clencher.
This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. A couple of very slight scratches on the bowl, but nothing major.
