Description

Comoy’s is a historic brand in pipe making, and possibly the most historic brand in the making of briar pipes. Though originally founded in 1825 by a French family from Saint Claude, France, production of Comoy’s pipes was soon moved to London, England, where it established itself as one of the quintessential English pipe companies.

Named after the landmark river that runs through London, the Comoy’s Thames was a rather nice post-Cadogan line from the Anglo-French giant. Featuring classic shapes dressed in a light, orange-brown finish and fitted with vulcanite mouthpieces, such pipes were simple, elegant, and eminently traditional, as exemplified by this timeless prince rendition.

The condition is good. Minor inner rim darkening and chamber slightly over-reamed, though nothing major.
