Our Estate Pipes Purchasing Program
At MBSD Pipes, we purchase smoked and unsmoked tobacco pipes. Our team of experts is at the ready to give an honest appraisal of their worth, putting the same, high level of effort and care into researching and evaluating every pipe we receive. This includes:
- Tracing a pipe’s history and estimating when it was made
- Identifying the “grades” a pipe was given by its maker
- Surveying past and present trends in the market value of a type or brand of pipe
- Assessing the condition of each pipe and the costs of any restoration that may be needed before selling it
- And consulting with collectors when it comes to fan-favorite brands, or brands we aren’t personally familiar with (nobody’s perfect!)
