Comoy’s T390 Smooth Bulldog Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked

Out of stock

Description

Comoy’s is a historic brand in pipe making, and possibly the most historic brand in the making of briar pipes. Though originally founded in 1825 by a French family from Saint Claude, France, production of Comoy’s pipes was soon moved to London, England, where it established itself as one of the quintessential English pipe companies.

As with another Comoy’s that came in alongside this one, this Comoy’s is a simple, classic Anglo-French pipe from a classic Anglo-French make. Taking the form of a traditional bulldog, it’s compact, relatively lightweight, and modest in dress, giving exactly what it needs to, and not more.

This pipe is also completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. The stem logo has worn off over time, and there are a couple of very small scratches on the bowl, though nothing major by any measure.
