Vauen 3905 Smooth Pear Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked, 9mm

Out of stock

Description

Vauen stems from Germany’s oldest tobacco pipe manufacturing company, tracing its roots back to the founding partnership of Karl Ellenberger and Carl August Ziener in Nuremberg, 1848. Out of the Ellenberger-Ziener partnership soon came the Vauen make itself, which grew to become Germany’s largest and most enduring pipe brand – a title that it continues to hold to this day.

A simple but surprisingly distinctive pear/apple hybrid from Vauen, while also being highly ergonomic (as I’d expect from Germans) and light enough that it should make a comfortable enough hanger for many smokers.

This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. It also comes with its original sleeve. The pipe is chambered to accommodate 9mm filters, such as Vauen’s own, but should also accommodate an adapter of some variety if non-filtered use is preferred.
