Savinelli Trevi 320 KS Rusticated Author Estate Briar Pipe, Italian Estates, 6mm
Out of stock
Description
It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
Named after Rome’s famous Fontana di Trevi (Trevi Fountain), Savinelli’s Trevi line is one of its most popular in current production, with each pipe wearing an engraved collar in reference to its titular monument. This rusticated variant of the Trevi is rendered one of Savinelli’s best-selling shapes, the 320 KS author. With its wide chamber, it is quite famous for how well it handles mixture and ribbon cuts, especially English blends (though I personally find it an excellent all-rounder).
The condition is great. Does not appear to have been used more than a handful of times. As with most modern Savinelli pipes, this Trevi is chambered to fit 6mm filters, such as Savinelli’s own balsa filters, if preferred, but will perform perfectly well without one.
