Savinelli Hercules 604 EX Smooth Oom Paul (Estate)

It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for over 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.

Savinelli’s Hercules line is made for those who enjoy the Italian mainstay’s classic shapes, but wish they were just a little bit larger. In other words, it is comprised of slightly upsized versions of the shapes featured in Savinelli’s other lines, with a size difference comparable to the standard and oversized lines of the various midcentury English pipe companies. This one takes the old “604 KS” Oom Paul—an already quite substantial pipe—and scales it up even further, turning it into a veritable “house pipe.”

The condition is fair. Some darkening and finish fading on the rim, and some small scratches on the bowl.
