Pipa Croci was founded by Italian artisans Paolo Croci and Gianni Croci in 1983, and in the decades that followed, the two would make a name for themselves (quite literally) owing to the high-quality, handmade pipes that emerged from their workshop in Lombardy. As Pipa Croci is a thoroughly artisanal enterprise, each pipe is unique, with some being more traditional, and others being more modern.
Or, in the case of the Calumet series, Pipa Croci can be a little of both. The series is distinguished by its extra long designs, each being supported by a briar shank extension, which call to mind the ceremonial pipes of pre-modern civilizations, but in a more contemporary artisanal guise. This one, for example, is a essentially a finely grained churchwarden, one that can be disassembled for easy cleaning.
This pipe is completely unsmoked and comes with its original box. Some slight handling marks.
