The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

Though the name of the “Devil Anse” is a new one, the design itself is very old, and can likely be traced all the way back to the functionalist forms of clay pipes. Otherwise known as the “Belge” (as well as a few other, slightly less “politically correct” ones), the Devil Anse is essentially a slightly bulbous, sharply forward-canted egg, mirroring the figures of the tavern clay, but in proportions more suited to briar or meerschaum. This is one of MBSD Meerschaum’s various interpretations in the latter medium, one that sticks quite close to traditional approaches to the form, but with the addition of a reverse calabash system nestled within its shank, which works to further cool and dry the smoke that passes through it.

This pipe comes with a custom-fitted hard case.
