While Davidoff is most popularly known for its cigars, the company has also sold tobacco pipes (and pipe tobacco) since the 1970s. Like S.T. Dupont, Davidoff has on occasion contracted established pipe makers from across Europe to create high-grade smoking instruments that would match the luxury status of their other wares.

Luxury is not always synonymous with opulence, and in fact sometimes a mark of high-status is a far more reserved dress. Such is the case with this Davidoff. A relatively classic bent pot, save for its modern, half-saddle mouthpiece, the pipe is crisply sandblasted in an almost jet black fashion, complemented by a hand-cut mouthpiece of a matching hue.

The condition is very good. Some inner rim darkening.
