Molina

Molina, also known as Molina di Barasso, produces Italian tobacco pipes in Lombardy at the historic factory campus once occupied by Rossi. Molina credits part of its manufacturing knowledge, equipment, and consistency to the pipe-making tradition inherited with that facility.

The company produces pipes under the Molina name while also manufacturing for other brands and retailers. Its catalog covers traditional shapes and more contemporary designs, with smooth, sandblasted, rusticated, and specialty finishes. Many Molina pipes are drilled for 9mm filters and combine briar with accents such as brass or olivewood.

MBSD’s Molina selection includes new pipes received through the original distribution chain, along with occasional estate and unsmoked estate examples. Series such as the Ambra, Azzurro, Barasso, Carbon, and Striato demonstrate the brand’s range while maintaining approachable pricing. Shapes commonly encountered include billiards, Dublins, Rhodesians, apples, brandies, calabashes, and bent billiards.
