It is probably fair to say that Savinelli is Italy’s most famous pipe brand. Founded in Milan in 1876 by Achille Savinelli, the brand has continuously offered high quality pipes for nearly 150 years. Though various Savinelli lines have come and gone over the years, the brand has always been notable for putting out classically styled pipes with a distinctly Italian twist.
Named after Rome’s famous Fontana di Trevi (Trevi Fountain), Savinelli’s Trevi line is one of its most popular in current production, with each pipe wearing an engraved collar in reference to its titular monument. This one is rendered in Savinelli’s traditional “626” apple shape, with the Trevi finish lending giving it the aesthetic of a classic English dress pipe.
This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. It is chambered to allow for the use of 9mm filters if desired.
