Moonshine MS07 Leather Sandblasted Devil Anse w/ Black Stem Briar Pipe, New
Out of stock
Description
The Moonshine Pipe Company was created in the early 2010s by American artisan craftsman Johnathan Lavezzo. After becoming a major hit in the tobacco pipe community, Lavezzo’s production became greatly outpaced by demand, leading him to enlist the help of Todd Johnson and Pete Prevost in scaling up the venture. Johnson and Prevost’s Briarworks workshop took on the manufacture of Moonshine pipes, with the former ultimately acquiring the latter. Today, Moonshine and Briarworks pipes are produced under the same roof in Tennessee.
Despite its roots in the European “Belge” and “Jap” shapes of the late 19th and early 20th century, the Devil Anse has become a thoroughly American shape in recent times, evoking the short but punchy smokers of the wild west. It’s only natural, then, that Moonshine has their own rendition, in the form of the plump and pocket friendly MS07. This one is dressed in Moonshine’s signature, slight contrast Leather Sandblast finish and fitted with a simple, black acrylic mouthpiece.
