The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature either silver ferrules, army mounts or spigot mounts.

Like the Dublin and the brandy, bulldogs and Rhodesians are shapes that were thoroughly transformed by post-war artisan pipe making, especially as the Danish freehand revolution got into full swing. Simultaneously stouter and more fluid than their Anglo-French ancestors, they’re shapes that have become firm favorites in the briar artisan scene, and have proved similarly popular among carvers and smokers of meerschaum pipes. This particularly “Danish bulldog” rendition belongs to our own line of silver-mounted meers and, as with many of those pipes, it also features reverse calabash system within its shank, which works to further cool and dry the smoke that passes through it.

This pipe comes with a custom-fitted hard case.
