Description

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

Long-time visitors to MBSD Pipes will know how much I enjoy blending various shapes and styles for our meerschaum pipe designs, and this one is exemplary in that regard. The basic shaping is inspired by Danish briar pipes, in particular the stout, broad-bowled Dublin-Rhodesian hybrids of master artisans such as Kurt Balleby, S. Bang, and Tao, but the finishing is far more Turkish, incorporating lace and guilloche motifs around the entirety of the bowl. As an extra addition, this pipe also features a reverse calabash system in its shank, which should provide an even cooler, drier smoke than a standard-bore meerschaum pipe.

This pipe comes with a custom-fitted hard case.
