MBSD Meerschaum Silver Floral Carved Reverse Calabash Rhodesian (New)

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature either silver ferrules, army mounts or spigot mounts.

Bulldog and Rhodesian renditions have been staples in the world of meerschaum for about as long as they have in the world of briar. And, over the course of the last century, approaches to such shapes in either scene have had consequences for the other. One might say that this Rhodesian has something of an “Irish” shaping to it, for example, given its tall, stacked bowl and calabash-esque figure. On the other hand, its dress is more typically Turkish, showcasing a tapestry of hand-carved floral and guilloche patterns. As with many of our Silver line meerschaum pipes, this one also features a reverse calabash system nestled in its shank, works to further cool and dry the smoke that passes through it.

This pipe comes with a custom-fitted hard case.
