MBSD Meerschaum Silver Floral Carved Reverse Calabash Author (New)

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature either silver ferrules, army mounts or spigot mounts.

While it has roots in the Anglo-French tradition, the author has ultimately become a thoroughly Italian shape in the post-war years, owing to the iconic renditions of a number of established factory makes in the region. It is also, however, a shape that works very well in meerschaum, with the bowl’s breadth ensuring an even heat dissipation, while feeling good in the hand more generally. This one takes the basic author form and adds a finish of quintessentially Turkish floral carvings, as well as a reverse calabash system nestled in its shank, works to further cool and dry the smoke that passes through it.

This pipe comes with a custom-fitted hard case.
