Malcolm’s Pipe Shop is not a shop per se, but a project by American artisan Malcolm Thomas. Based in Ohio, Thomas takes unfinished stummels and pipes a variety of sources, such as old, unused factory stock, and gives them new life. He modifies them so that they’re more in line with the technical standards of contemporary pipes, and finishes them in a number of styles. This one, for example, is a compact, though fairly stout, bent apple shape, finished with Thomas’s own, especially tactile rustication.
The condition is great. Smoked a handful of times at most.
