Jobey Dansk (Karl Erik) 2 XL Partially Rusticated Freehand Estate Briar Pipe, Danish Estates
Out of stock
Description
Jobey is a name that has been associated with a number of pipe manufacturers, vendors, and nationalities over the years. The Jobey name has also been attached to a wide variety of pipes and styles, from the Italian-inspired Stromboli line, to the Jobey Dansk pipes carved in the workshop of Karl Erik.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear. This looks to be one of Erik’s freehands made for Jobey, which took the fitting title of the Jobey Dansk. In addition to being a rather large example of the Danish Fancy freehand genre, one nice additional touch is the pipe’s slightly colorful mouthpiece, something Jobey utilized in many other of their non-Danish lines, like the Stromboli.
The condition is fair. Some rim charring, chamber slightly over-reamed, and minor handling marks.
