JM Boswell 2019 Rusticated Bent Billiard Estate Briar Pipe, American Estates
Out of stock
Description
J.M. Boswell is one of North America’s most revered artisan pipe makers, with Boswell pipes typically selling out within minutes of going on sale. With a pipe-making career that started in the 1970s, J.M. Boswell has become the equivalent of a household name in the pipe world, both for his pipes and for serving as the patriarch of family-owned Pennsylvania tobacconist Boswell’s.
Boswell pipes are known for being especially rugged, hardy smokers, though this one is perhaps even more so than usual. As Boswell pipes tend to be, the shaping is rooted in the classics of the Anglo-French tradition, taking the form of a bent billiard sitter, though its sharply rusticated finish gives it an all the more assertive posture, as well as a nice feel in the hand.
The condition is great. Minor wear to the rim.
