Emperor Supreme Large Partially Rusticated Billiard (Estate)

Emperor is a rather old make of pipes from the mid-20th century, made by New York’s Empire Briar Company. The Supreme, seen here, appears to have been at the higher end of the make’s output per catalogs from the time, though little else about the full range of Emperor pipes has survived. This one takes the form of a large, stacked billiard, dressed in a spiraling, grooved rustication that was quite popular among American pipes back in the day.

The condition is good. Some inner rim darkening, minor finish fading, and slight handling marks.
