Dunhill 1975 Shell Briar 39 Sandblasted Billiard Estate Briar Pipe, English Estates

Out of stock

Description

To veteran pipe smokers, Dunhill needs no introduction. Beginning in 1907, Alfred Dunhill began selling Dunhill pipes at the tobacconist shop he owned on London’s Duke Street. Very quickly, these pipes gained the reputation of being the ‘Rolls-Royce’ of pipes due to how expertly crafted they were. Today, Dunhill is likely Britain’s most famous pipe manufacturer, and continues to produce some of the most treasured pipes a smoker can buy.

There are few pipes around that are quite as easily clenched as a Dunhill. In part due to their slight and slender, quintessentially English shaping, and in part due to the quality of the briar used, Dunhill pipes are typically exceedingly lightweight and perfect clenchers. This one is even lighter than most, coming in at around just 22 grams. It’s a compact pipe, though still with ample chamber capacity, making for something easy and good looking for when one needs to go “hands free.”

The condition is fair. Some rim darkening and charring, and some finish fading.
