Peterson 2025 Halloween Pipe 305 Sandblasted Calabash Briar Pipe, P-Lip, New
Out of stock
Description
Peterson, perhaps more than any other make, takes an enthusiastic part in worldly festivities. Over the last century and a half, limited edition Peterson pipes have been released to celebrate the New Year (in the form of an annual Pipe of the Year), Father’s Day, American Independence Day, Saint Patrick’s Day, Christmas, and other occasions marked around the world. Picking up where the old Samhain series left off, since 2021, Peterson has also celebrated Halloween, with a yearly, special series of limited edition pipes. Each iteration of the Halloween Pipe is of a distinct design not found in the make’s standard catalog, one which leans heavily into the gothic connotations of that most macabre of holidays.
For 2025, Peterson has wholeheartedly embraced the spirit of the season, including its shorter days and longer nights. This year’s release takes the form of a classic, sandblasted Peterson System Pipe, available in a number of System shapes. Its distinction, however, lies in its uniform obsidian color palette, from the finishing of its bowl, to its acrylic army mount and P-lip stem. One can picture Peterson’s director and designer of this year’s Halloween Pipe, Glen Whelan, listening to The Rolling Stones as he put pencil to paper. How does that song go again? “I see a red Pete and I want it painted black…”?
This particular Halloween Pipe is the System shape 305 calabash. If you are interested in other shapes available for this year’s Halloween release, you can find them alongside our other Peterson listings.
