Peterson pipes generally need no introduction, but just in case you’re unfamiliar: in 1876, a Latvian named Charles Peterson immigrated to Ireland and was hired making pipes in a workshop owned by Frederick and George Kapp. After rising through the ranks to become head craftsman, Peterson bought into the Kapp’s business, which was renamed, Kapp & Peterson (K&P). During this time, Peterson himself applied for several patents for pipe designs, including the world-famous Peterson’s System. Since then, Peterson has become one of the most recognizable names in pipe smoking and continues to produce high quality pipes from their headquarters in Dublin.

Oh, how time flies. Seems as though it was only yesterday I was praising Peterson’s 2024 Christmas Pipe. What’s that saying? “The days are long but the years are quick”? In any case, it was a pleasure to get my hands on a couple more of them in the form of new old stock from a local store closure.
As I said around 6 months ago, I was a great fan of the 2022 Peterson Christmas Pipe, which meant that I equally adored the 2024 release. With it Peterson brought back the copper spigot mounts that were the centerpiece of the 2022 designs, while also creating even more expansive range of available shapes and finishes for them to lovingly adorn. This 2024 Christmas Pipe is the shape model 701, a lightweight poker ideal for clenching, dressed in Peterson’s iconic house rusticated finish.

This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. It comes with its original box and sleeve.
