Mina Pipes Smooth Rhodesian Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked
Out of stock
Description
This particular pipe came to us with a batch of new old stock (NOS) pipes from a store closure a few states over. Based on what I was able to research, the Mina company runs a pipe workshop in China, not unlike HS Studio or GH Zhang, which produces a number of different makes based on the style of pipe. This one is a relatively traditional Rhodesian, including in its simple, natural smooth finish and black ebonite stem. Where it gets really interesting, however, is the distinct, backward lean of the rim, creating something that looks like a synthesis of a Pibe Dan shape and the “chopper” by Vladimir Grechukhin.
This pipe is completely unsmoked.
