Mina Pipes Smooth Pot w/ Horn Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked
Out of stock
Description
This particular pipe came to us with a batch of new old stock (NOS) pipes from a store closure a few states over. Based on what I was able to research, the Mina company runs a pipe workshop in China, not unlike HS Studio or GH Zhang, which produces a number of different makes based on the style of pipe. This one is a very nice, wide pot sitter, or perhaps a hybrid poker of sorts, with impressive straight grain circling almost the entirety of its bowl. In addition to this, it features a long, asymmetric horn ferrule, along with a cumberland stem.
The pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. I do note a small flaw in the briar on the right side of the outside of the bowl. though as it does not extend to the chamber I would consider it merely cosmetic. I’ve adjusted the price in any case to reflect this imperfection.
