The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver-mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

Long-time visitors to MBSD Pipes will know how much I enjoy blending various shapes and styles for our meerschaum pipe designs. While many of these inspirations come from the world of post-war artisan briars, in the case of this one, inspiration came from a slightly earlier time. Drawing on the especially stout Rhodesian and bulldog renditions of American pipe companies, such as Custom-Bilt, this one is, just like those pipes, intended to be a well-oiled smoking machine. To add to that property, this Silver line MBSD Meerschaum also features a good, large chamber for longer, uninterrupted smokes, as well as a reverse calabash system embedded in its thick shank, allowing for a cooler, drier experience all the while.
