Description

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature either silver ferrules, army mounts or spigot mounts.

Of all of the shapes to have come out of post-war Scandinavian pipe making, I think the acorn might be my favorite, especially the more plump and organic renditions of figures such as Jess Chonowitsch or Nanna Ivarsson. Naturally, such shapes were a must for our MBSD Meerschaum pipes, taking inspiration from the Danish masters while nonetheless giving the pipes a properly Turkish touch. This one wears a smooth finish, so as to put the golden patina it will ultimately develop on center stage, and is also fitted with a reverse calabash system in its shank, which should provide an even cooler, drier smoke than a standard-bore meerschaum pipe.

This pipe comes with a custom-fitted hard case.
