Description

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our new series of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

Like with the Deluxe line, I wanted some of our Silver line of meerschaums to feature a few classic shapes not typically found on meerschaum pipes—those being the ones more typically found on briar pipes. And since the Deluxe Oom Paul shapes turned out to be a roaring success, I thought it would be a good idea to offer the same for smokers who prefer silver mounted pipes. This one adds a swirling silver acrylic stem, along with some Turkish lattice carvings. It has also been given a light stain, for those who want a little head start getting some color on their meer (or for those who enjoy the look of much older meerschaum pipes, such as the African meerschaums of the late-19th and 20th centuries).
