IMP Magnum Calabash w/ Silver (Estate)

So-called “freehand” pipes aren’t typically associated with meerschaum, despite meerschaum carving being primarily done by hand. This magnum-sized meerschaum from IMP shows what a missed opportunity the merging of “Danish” freehands and meerschaum pipes has been (though we do try our best with our own-brand meers). Perhaps most impressive is that it’s already started to color nicely, which is a good sign for the quality of the block meerschaum used.
