Description

To veteran pipe smokers, Dunhill needs no introduction. Beginning in 1907, Alfred Dunhill began selling Dunhill pipes at the tobacconist shop he owned on London’s Duke Street. Very quickly, these pipes gained the reputation of being the ‘Rolls-Royce’ of pipes due to how expertly crafted they were. Today, Dunhill is likely Britain’s most famous pipe manufacturer, and continues to produce some of the most treasured pipes a smoker can buy.

It never ceases to amaze me just how lightweight Dunhill pipes are. This one has a very reasonable chamber capacity and still manages to remain under a single ounce, making it a perfect clencher. It’s also got that signature, craggy Shell Briar sandblast going for it, to the point where it might even be mistaken for one of the early patent era renditions.

The condition is fair. Rim charring, some finish fading, and a replacement stem.
