Description
While originally born in Italy, Thomas Cristiano emigrated to the United States at the age of 16, quickly finding work in the S.M. Frank factory in Long Island. S.M. Frank is a historic American pipe-making company, and at this time Cristiano worked on Frank-owned makes such as Kaywoodie. Later, Cristiano departed to make his own pipes under the Thomas Cristiano name.
This particular Thomas Cristiano is a stout bent brandy, one that feels good in the hand and comes with a suitably, very generous chamber. I’d call it a great sipping pipe, and not a bad looking one either, by virtue of its wine red finish and silver and brass trim.
This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating. There are a couple of small scratches on the outside of the bowl, but they’re purely cosmetic. I’ve adjusted the price a little in any case.
