Neerup Classic Partially Rusticated Apple Estate Briar Pipe, Danish Estates
Out of stock
Description
Neerup pipes are made by Peder Jeppesen, who began his career in the workshops of the legendary Danish pipe-makers Karl Erik Ottendahl and Erik Nording. Peder’s style has changed over the years, with his more recent work displaying a playfulness in design that is not often seen, even within the avant-garde stylings of the Danish tradition.
For example, even in his Classic series, Jeppesen frequently pairs distinctly Danish staples, such as this plump, flame grain apple, with an assortment of collars, ferrules, and other other additional design elements. This one features a horn-hued band at its shank, a crowning silver mount, and a partially rusticated base, creating a unique aesthetic of rugged elegance.
The condition is great. Some minor inner rim darkening.
