Kaywoodie Pre-1977 Signet Smooth Apple w/ Aluminum Estate Briar Pipe, Unsmoked
Out of stock
Description
Kaywoodie pipes are as American as apple pie. Starting in 1919 as a pipe brand for KB&B, a pipe shop dating all the way back to 1851, Kaywoodie has since then been a staple of American-made pipes. In the present, many Kaywoodies are collectors’ items, in addition to being fantastic smokers.
The Signet was a relatively late addition to the Kaywoodie catalog, first appearing in 1968. But, as we can see, it was nothing to scoff at. Taking its name from the rings once used by royalty to sign their degrees, these pipes featured a shining, aluminum band collaring their shank ends, a similarly gleaming smooth finish.
This pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original (now very flaked) bowl coating.
