As the name alludes, Irish Seconds is a sub-brand for Peterson Pipes, through which the world-famous make sells pipes with minor cosmetic imperfections—otherwise known as “seconds.” Given Peterson’s exacting functional and aesthetic standards, Irish Seconds are essentially a chance to buy a Peterson pipe at a lower cost.

This one, for example, looks to be Peterson’s classic shape 150 bulldog, stripped down to its bare essentials. A trusty workhorse if I ever saw one.

The condition is very good. Some slight wear to the rim.
