Description
Germanus is a prominent tobacconist in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany. As with many shops of its kind, Germanus has house-brand pipes made for it by various established pipe makers. In the case of Germanus, many of these pipes come from Italy, and this one does also look to be Italian in style (as well as quite large).
The pipe is completely unsmoked, with an original bowl coating, having come to us in a large new old stock lot from a shop closure in Europe (which, it would seem, also stocked Germanus pipes, oddly enough). It is chambered to allow for the use of 9mm filters if desired.
