Baronet Bruyere by Savinelli 410 EX Rusticated Lovat Estate Briar Pipe, Italian Estates
Out of stock
Description
The name “Baronet” has been associated with a few brands over the years, from locales as diverse as Denmark and England. But if you know a little about the older Savinelli shapes, this one might just seem familiar. It is in fact, the long-retired shape 410 EX Dublin, now relegated to periodic (at best) appearances by way of Savinelli’s “legacy stock”—i.e., unfinished pipes or stummels within the warehouses of Savinelli’s Milan campus. True to its designation, it’s a hefty pipe, with a broad chamber and thick bowl walls, though it still remains a perfectly manageable six inches in length and just under two ounces in weight.
The condition is fair. Some general finish fading, and a slight, superficial nick (or perhaps over-rustication) at the outer edge of the shank end, but still plenty of life in this old gent yet.
