Pipes stamped Pat Vottis are attributed to Pasquale “Pat” Vottis, a mid-twentieth-century pipe maker and tobacconist based in New York. Surviving information is limited, making original examples an uncommon part of American pipe history.
Known Pat Vottis tobacco pipes range from traditional shapes such as the Liverpool to individually carved designs. Some examples use screw-in tenons, while others feature figural carving, including American motifs such as the eagle.
MBSD receives Pat Vottis pipes through estate collections and customer trade-ins. Because stamping may be sparse and documentation is limited, our listings describe each pipe’s attribution and construction individually rather than assuming them from appearance alone.
