Unknown Meerschaum Smooth Oom Paul Block Meerschaum Estate Pipe, Other Estates
Out of stock
Description
While I don’t know who made this meer, I do know that I love the design—though if you’ve kept up with our MBSD Meerschaum listings you’ll know that already. After all, it’s a stout and sturdy Oom Paul in the vein of classic Anglo-French briars, but rendered in meerschaum. The chamber is more than generous, it’s not too heavy (some may even find it a suitable clencher/hanger), and the stem is made from a swirling acrylic reminiscent of antique Bakelite. What’s not to like?
The condition is great, too. Some inner rim darkening. Note that this pipe has a threaded tenon, rather than the more common push tenon seen in today’s pipes, briar or meerschaum.
