Description

Along with names like Barling, Charatan, and Dunhill Sasieni holds a special place in the history of English smoking pipes – one near to its very beginnings. So the story goes, Sasieni himself worked for Dunhill during its early days. But eventually he left Dunhill, having his own ideas about how pipes should be made, and founded Sasieni. This was 1919, and Sasieni has been the closest thing to a household name in English pipes ever

Sasieni always had particularly exacting standards for its pipes, even within the English pipe scene, so when a bowl was found to have even the tiniest, superficial imperfection, the bowl would be used for one of Sasieni’s many sub-brands. Such was the case for this quaint little apple, though it’s still plenty nice to look at, and should perform exactly as one would expect for a Sasieni make.

The condition is good. Minor wear to the rim and a couple of worn out fills.
