Description

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

The inspiration for this MBSD Silver model came from a distinct mid-century shape – one associate with classic American makes such as Custom-Bilt and LHS. That shape is the “bullcap,” a squat, palm-filling Rhodesian as assertive as its taurine namesake. While its foundational influence is in American briars, this Silver line meerschaum is a decidedly Turkish rendition, owing to the inclusion of intricate, hand-carved floral motifs. It has also given an even more stout figure than the pipes that first inspired it, in part to accommodate a cool and dry smoking reverse calabash system in its shank.
