Description

The MBSD Meerschaum Silver is our line of silver mounted meerschaum pipes. Using the same high-grade, fast-coloring Turkish meerschaum found on our Deluxe series, these pipes exclusively feature silver army mounts or spigot mounts.

This Silver line pipe was inspired by the distinctly wide-rimmed, almost horn-like bent Dublin shapes that have come out of Denmark and America over the last half century, especially more recent artisan renditions. While Sixten Ivarsson inaugurated this genre of the Dublin many decades ago, it has remained a staple in large part thanks to figures such as Sixten’s granddaughter Nanna Ivarsson, Peter Hedegaard, Jody Davis, Don Marshall, and many others. This one follows that vein and also includes a reverse calabash system, helping to provide a cool, dry smoke.
