Amorelli

Founded in Sicily in 1982 by Salvatore Amorelli, Amorelli is known for high-grade, handmade Italian tobacco pipes. Each pipe carries the Amorelli name along with the workshop’s distinctive 18-karat gold inlay—a detail introduced as a visible statement of the maker’s standards and craftsmanship.

Amorelli grades many of its pipes using a system of one to five stars, or stelle, with five stars representing the highest grade. Grain, briar quality, finish, and overall execution contribute to a pipe’s placement within this system. Amorelli’s catalog includes traditional and distinctly Italian interpretations of Canadians, Dublins, bulldogs, bullcaps, pots, and other shapes in smooth and rusticated finishes. Collectors may also encounter series such as Old Root, Penna di San Michele, and A Fuoco.

MBSD’s changing selection may include smoked and unsmoked Amorelli estate pipes from different series and grading levels. Review each listing for detailed photographs, star grade, nomenclature, dimensions, condition, stem material, filter configuration, and individual design features.
