Kaywoodie Connoisseur Smooth Apple Estate Briar Pipe, American Estates
Out of stock
Description
Kaywoodie pipes are as American as apple pie. Starting in 1919 as a pipe brand for KB&B, a pipe shop dating all the way back to 1851, Kaywoodie has since then been a staple of American-made pipes. In the present, many Kaywoodies are collectors’ items, in addition to being fantastic smokers.
In recent years, Kaywoodie pipes have undergone something of a revival, thanks in no small part to Nathan Davis and his Greywoodie outfit. The pipes themselves, of course, have certainly helped. This more recent production Kaywoodie, for example, has bird’s-eye for days, with a warm, almost golden contrast style finish setting these patterns off. It’s also a great, lightweight piece, making it ideal for clenching while out and about, working, or simply doing chores.
The condition is very good. Minor handling marks and residual oxidation.
