Imported Briar Sandblasted Large Billiard Estate Briar Pipe, Other Estates

Description

I’m not sure who made this pipe. Presumably it’s a second from an established make, or even perhaps a pipe made as a house-brand for a pipe shop. However, it does exhibit the kind of crisp, ring grain sandblasting patterns that many a make charges a premium for, and which many an artisans would do unspeakable things to achieve. It’s a good size too, all in all comparable to, say, a Dunhill ODA 835.

The condition is fair. Rim darkening and some finish fading.
